These photos were taken on Thanksgiving Monday, during a leisurely walk around Elk Island with my love. Hands down, this national park is one of the most breathtakingly beautiful places I've ever visited, and I'm pretty sure the mister was giddy the entire time � homeboy really likes the outdoors. Me, on the other hand... well, let's just say my time outdoors comes complete with Starbucks, Domino Magazine and full-on accessories. Hey, to each their own, right?

{Style} Weekend Wear...

Weekends are for kicking back, enjoying time with friends and treating yo-self to some serious carbs and caffeine (just me?), so when it comes to dressing the part, there's nothing I love more than my trusty slouchy-shirt-n-jeans combo. It's put together juuuuuust enough as to look presentable � especially with the help of a statement necklace � yet comfortable enough to lounge in all weekend long. In fact, as soon as I get home tonight I'm going to pull a Mr. Rogers and change into my "indoor" clothes... Only minus the thousands of children watching.

Nothing says 'weekend wear' quite like slouchy sweaters and ankle boots, or as I like to refer to them, my new fall uniform. These suede Massimo Dutti booties in particular fit like a dream, and the very sight of them conjures up images of pumpkin fields and hot apple cider in my mind... Man am I ever ready for fall! And as far as this weekend goes, I'm thinking of getting hopped up on Pumpkin Spice Lattes and purging my closet like a mo-fo to make room for more booties and, well, slouchy sweaters... It's an evil, yet beautiful cycle.

{Style} Pop of Plaid...

Plaid, suede and tortoise details aside, I'm totally ready for fall and it has everything to do with the fact that I've already had my first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the season... My boss nearly tackled me when I offered her one yesterday (I guess somebody's a little puritanical when it comes to seasonal goods), but workplace outbursts aside (I kid, I kid), it was sooooo worth it... PSL's for the win!
