{Feature} The Tell-Tale Heart...

There's nothing better than a good old photo adventure, even if it includes mud and more mosquito bites (in highly undesirable places) than I care to count. Luckily I have nice friends who are willing to put up with such things for the sake of getting the shot, including trudging through waist-high grass and coaxing me onto old, abandoned tractors (just for kicks) even when I'm being a total priss about it... What can I say, some people just belong in cities.

Today's outfit is brought to you by H&M, that wonderful neighbourhood mass retailer who always knows what I need... And in this case, what I needed happened to be a mint green dress. The moment I saw it I just knew it had to be mine, and couldn't wait to pair it with this blazer that I bought there last year... Can you say pastel heaven? Sigh.

Light as a Feather...

Question: Did you guys ever play 'light as a feather, stiff as a board' when you were kids? I guess the feather print on this Forever 21 dress reminded me of those early days on the playground, where we hopelessly willed ourselves to float in thin air between breaks from the monkey bars or daisy chain-making... Oh, the good old days. Well needless to say, it didn't really happened for us � I guess eight-year-old Vickie's levitating skills never quite kicked in... At least I'll always have this feather dress though, right?

Wardrobe Wednesday...

I don't know if you guys remember, but when I moved back to Edmonton last summer I somehow lost a box filled with all my favourite jewelry... So after tearing apart my house (and getting my mom to do the same in Victoria), I finally came to terms with the fact that it was gone... Forever.

Heartbroken, I tried to move on by treating myself to some new baubles, but the memory of my three favourite necklaces haunted me... Until one fateful day when I was looking for some shoes to wear, and unsuspectingly opened a box to find � joy of joys � my long lost jewelry! Eeeek! Needless to say, screaming ensued and I've been wearing my old favourites ever since... Things just have a funny way of working out, huh?
