{Summer Week} The Sun Dress...

 
Who's ready for another theme week? Since I'm always talking about how I can't wait for fall, I figured I should stop and enjoy summer while I still can, so voila! A new theme week was born. First up, the sun dress. All you need are some stripes, pastels and cute cutout detailing, and you've got yourselves the all the makings of a summertime staple... Too bad this is the first time I've worn this dress since buying it a month ago, but I digress � As is the case with theme weeks, better late than never, right?

{Feature} Beauty in Destruction...

Sometimes the most unexpected backdrops turn out to be the best, as was the case with this construction site that my friend Jerry coaxed me onto. Despite the nagging feeling that I was doing something wrong the entire time (B&E, anyone?), it was actually one of the funnest shoots I've ever done � Rain, lightning, jagged edges and all. xx

{Style} Birthday Dress...

I bought this dress last week with my birthday in mind, only plans change, and I didn't actually wear it in the end. Regardless of this � oh let's go ahead and call it "minor" � detail, this dress shall forever be known as "the birthday dress" in my mind and in my heart... Sniff sniff.

Now I know what you must be thinking: "Is she seriously posing in a dingy back alley AGAIN?!" But let's be real here ladies, sometimes a girl just finds herself in oddly placed stairwells, back alleys and the like... Nothing out of the ordinary in the world of blog photos, know what I'm sayin? Besides, they don't call it "street style" for nothing.

And now, allow me to draw your attention to my snazzy new shoes... Well, they're not exactly new anymore, but it's my first time wearing them since they arrived several, impossibly snowy months ago. Let's just say that my shoe addiction is steadily worsening.

{Style} Footloose...

These ShoeMint beauties have been imprisoned in my closet for months under the tyrannical oppression of Old Man Winter (what a jerk), but yesterday � joy of joys � they finally got to see the light of day and go for a mini stroll... Huzzah! I'm sure if they could talk they would tell you that they were very, very pleased. Oh, and that puddles scare them. xx

{Travel Diary} Short Shorts...

I wore these shorts ad nauseum during my trip, because not only were they super cute and comfy, but the polka dots made them virtually irresistible to me... Be it day or night, these shorts were on and in a big way. They even made it to the top of a mountain, where they enjoyed a cool glass of beer under the stars... Talk about some traveling pants.
