Happy Colors

Gorgeous weather arrived in San Francisco and did a very strange thing indeed: it stuck around for awhile. Not wanting to take it for granted, I jumped on the opportunity to get outside for a bit, meeting up for a coffee with local blogger and new-found friend Fawn on a spectacularly sunny late afternoon in Cole Valley. The weather being so very lovely, I wore my happiest color combination, bright blue and saturated orange.

I always layer this blue dress over something because of the wrap skirt, which flies open with pretty much zero provocation. This time it was my new orange and burgundy skirt, which added just a little bit of pattern and provided a good separation between the black tights and the dark dress. The shoes, with their white piping, felt really perfect to pair with the white-accented skirt.
